Teaching at the Farm - 4 Week Sessions

Location: 120 Little Mountain Farm Charlottesville, VA 22911

The current circumstances are still preventing me from teaching in my studio at McGuffey. I will teach, in a limited capacity, at my home. I live on a 230-acre farm 15 minutes from McGuffey on Stoney Point Road. The farm is in a rural setting surrounded by the natural beauty of Albemarle county. The house sits in the middle of three large fields filled with sheep, goats, cows, donkeys, and horses. The upper farm even has several peacocks!

Teaching at the farm will allow me to have control of maintaining a safe class environment as opposed to the uncertainties of teaching in a public space. I will be following recommended safety standards including:

  • Social distancing, all student spaces will be 10 feet apart

  • Hand sanitizer at all entrances

  • Anti-bacterial soap at all sinks

  • Daily disinfection of all spaces

  • Outdoor spaces weather permitting for those who choose outside

  • Smaller classes limited to 6 maximum
